Fundraising to Enhance the Trempealeau Parkland Project Phase One

The Village of Trempealeau has made a significant investment of $3.1 million in the parkland project, delivering essential community features like a walking trail, basketball court, pickleball courts, and natural surface ball fields. While these developments mark an important milestone, there is still much to be done to fully realize the park's potential in phase one. To include the additional features that will elevate this space into a premier recreational hub, we need your support.

The Home Is Where Our Park Is campaign is focused on fundraising to enhance phase one of the Trempealeau Parkland Project by securing funds for the following:

Multipurpose Building: Provided by Romtec, this 80'x32' pavilion will feature a 53'-4" x 25'-4" space for restrooms, storage, a mechanical room, concessions, and a meeting room/press box. The building will have split-face, mortar joint concrete block exterior walls, wood trusses with steel brackets, and steel powder-coated posts with stone veneer. This structure is essential for supporting various events and activities within the park.

Equipment Shed: Also provided by Romtec, this 30'x30' shed will include a 10'x10' overhead door and a service door, offering secure storage for the equipment necessary to maintain and utilize the park's facilities.

Playground: Provided by Lee Recreation, this 6,370 sq. ft. playground is designed for up to 226 users, with 53 play events. It will feature a Pour-in-Place inclusive surface, with separate areas for children ages 2-5 and 5-12, ensuring a safe and engaging space for all age groups.

Synthetic Turf: Provided by Stout Construction, 45,100 sq. ft. of synthetic turf will be installed across two infields, enhancing the durability and usability of the ball fields in various weather conditions.

Portable Pitching Mounds: Provided by Portolite Pitching Mounds, the project will include two 10-inch two-piece game mounds, one for each field, enabling a variety of baseball and softball activities.

Portable Outfield Fencing: Provided by On Deck Sports, this includes two Grand Slam Fencing Premium Outfield Kits, which will consist of fencing rolls, poles, ground sockets, foul poles, and distance banners. These fences will make the fields adaptable for multiple sports and events.

Batting Cages: These cages are critical for player practice and development, making the park a versatile and valuable asset for the community.

These enhancements are crucial for making the parkland project a versatile and high-quality facility that meets the needs of both Trempealeau residents and the wider region. However, without additional funding, these features may not be included in phase one.

Your contribution to the Home Is Where Our Park Is campaign will directly impact the success of this project. By supporting these enhancements, you are helping to create a park that will serve the community for generations to come. Let’s come together to make these important additions a reality. Donate today and help us build a park that truly meets the needs of our community.
